Discover AJ Geensen: Toronto’s Revival Expert
Meet The Maker
Owner and Operator of AJ’s Antique Revival.
You can find AJ in the workshop most days building handmade furniture. Otherwise, she’s most likely on a picking adventure, sourcing new salvage and reclaimed items.
AJ can also be found creating content and How-to videos in collaboration with Lee Valley Tools.

More Than Your Average Antique Shop!
Open in 2012, AJ’s Antique Revival makes furniture designs using vintage, antique and reclaimed materials. AJ creates tables, lighting, shelving and storage solutions. She also does interior design and revivals as well as café and retail makeovers. You can find AJ’s custom handmade builds across the city. AJ loves using salvaged finds and creating sustainable pieces, while keeping items from ending up in the landfill. This Canadian shop is known for repurposing clients’ passed down furniture and excels at restoring old steamer trunks, one of AJ’s specialties.

Keep the Memories. Reimagine the Piece.
Have a piece of furniture or a special item from a loved one that doesn’t quite fit your home or style?
Don’t let it go. Let’s give it a new purpose!
At AJ’s Antique Revival, I transform meaningful furniture and sentimental pieces into unique, functional designs that suit your home, your style and your life.
From Grandma’s dining chairs turned into a beautiful shelf or entryway hooks, to repurposing parts of a family heirloom into something entirely new.
Keep the memories. Create something you’ll love all over again.
